Accounts Clerk at Unique Personnel

Job Description
  • To provide accurate financial information to the business
  • Accounting to Trial Balance
  • Bank (Local & Foreign)
  • Daily and Monthly reconciliation of Banks
  • Daily allocation of deposits and payments
  • Create Invoices & Credit notes.
  • Follow up on collections.
  • Attend to all queries / Liaise with regions.
  • Process Debtors & Creditors clearing journals.
  • Monthly General Ledger Reconciliations
  • Attend to internal/external audit requests.
  • Attending to ad-hoc requests from the Finance Managers and the business
  • Non-profit association/industry experience (advantageous)
  • Track invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions
  • Track and replenish office supplies.
  • Process supplier payments timeously
  • Prepare for an annual audit.
  • Manage Membership
  • Perform any other legitimate task as and when required.
  • Exposure to business planning and budgeting processes
  • Good people management skills and teamwork
  • Problem-Solving

Inherent Requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant Accounting/ Bookkeeping qualification or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Sage, Xero or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and detail-oriented
