Financial Controller – BPS

Helping the customer further with your expertise in the field of Financial Control. At Deloitte.

What impact will you make?

You are widely employable within controlling, with an emphasis on financial control. You will be deployed both in a team and individually at a very diverse number of customers, both large and small and active within different industries.

How do you do this?

• preparing periodic reports, e.g. monthly, quarterly and annual figures;
• monitor and maintain the financial administration;
• analyzing financial results of one or more entities;
• conducting consultations with management, controllers and external auditors;
• establishing budgeting and providing liquidity forecasts;
• managing and optimizing the AO/IC processes;
• the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual closings;
• coaching and supervising junior colleagues;
• (co-)managing and supervising project teams, both of the client and of Deloitte;
• (partly) responsible for the acquisition of new assignments and the expansion of the client and relationship network;
• (jointly) responsible for the (further) development of propositions;
• make a substantial contribution to the controlling practice in the field of recruitment, publications and knowledge management.

Be the true you
Will you be our new Financial Controller? You have analytical thinking skills and are solution-oriented. You are very consultative. Furthermore, you are well employable on both an individual basis and in a team. We also expect the following from you for this role:

• you have completed a university education with a Finance component;
• you have work experience in administration, accounting, financial advisor or financial controller;
• you have excellent knowledge of Excel and ERP
• you master both the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
