Where do you come to work?
You can work at one of the thirteen EY offices in the Netherlands; Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Arnhem, The Hague, Eindhoven, Enschede, Groningen, Maastricht, Naaldwijk, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Venlo or Zwolle.
What you will do: How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- During the interim audit, you and your team map out the processes and then check various items during the year-end audit.
- You not only look at the figures, but also at the business processes behind them
- You have (daily) contact with the customer to obtain information or to collect the correct substantiation
- In addition to the audit work you perform, there are various opportunities for personal development. For example, you can engage in coaching, innovation, data analysis or quality improvement.
Wat wij zoeken: Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- You have a (almost) completed HBO or WO education in the direction of Accountancy, Finance, Economics or Business Administration or you have a demonstrable affinity with Accountancy. You preferably have the ambition to continue towards your RA title – where the title ‘accountant in training’ comes from.
- You preferably have gained relevant work experience during a (side) job, internship or working student.

What we offer: Is everything that counts being counted?

- Flexible working: you decide where and when you work in consultation with your team. At home, at the office, at the customer or from another European country (up to 20 working days per year).
- Home workplace arrangement: to optimally set up your home workplace, EY makes the following resources available to you: office chair, sit/stand desk, external monitor, desk lamp, (Bluetooth) headset and a large external keyboard.
- Laptop and smartphone: you are entitled to a laptop and smartphone with a business subscription. *Smartphone not applicable to (thesis) interns.
- Salary: in addition to your fixed salary, depending on EY’s financial performance, you may be eligible for a bonus. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (depending on function) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month.
- Days off: you are entitled to 25 vacation days per year with full-time employment and the option to purchase extra days.
- Sabbatical: in consultation you have the option to take unpaid leave.
- Birth leave: EY pays 100% of the birth leave, in case of additional birth leave EY pays 70% of the salary.
- Training: EY believes it is important that you always have the opportunity to develop yourself if you wish. We offer you the opportunity to follow various soft & hard skills training, education and external courses. For example, obtaining an MBA to broaden your skills in Leadership, Business and Tech.
