The opportunity

From small businesses to the world’s best-known brands, our customers rely on reliable financial statements. Within EY Assurance you play an important role in creating trust. You analyze the data behind our clients’ business activities so that they, their investors and their regulators have a clear picture of how they are performing. This is essential for the proper functioning of society and the financial markets.

Your key responsibilities

• You will work within a young, enthusiastic and informal team where you not only look at numbers but also at the business processes behind them.
• During the interim audit, you map out the processes together with your team and then check various items during the year-end audit.
• You will receive personal and professional guidance from an experienced colleague from the field to stimulate your development.
• In addition to the audit work you perform, there are various opportunities for personal development. For example, you can engage in coaching, innovation, data analysis or quality improvement.
• You will have the opportunity to continue your studies towards your RA title or to participate in our internal training program EY University.

To qualify for the role you must have

• You have recently graduated or will soon graduate and preferably have gained relevant work experience during a (side) job, internship or working student.
• You have a (almost) completed HBO or WO education in the direction of Accountancy, Finance, Economics or Business Administration or you have a demonstrable affinity with Accountancy.
• You can communicate well in both Dutch and English.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• You enjoy working in diverse teams.
• You are analytical, ambitious and take the delivery of high-quality work for granted.
