Administrative Officer at City of Cape Town

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • 5 Years relevant administrative experience (as per KPAs)
  • Occupational Health and Safety Experience would be

Advantageous

  • Valid Code EB drivers licence
  • Willingness to travel extensively within and outside the City of Cape Town

Key Performance Areas

  • Coordinating the implementation of procedures, systems and controls.

 

  • Advising and instructing staff of the Occupational health and Safety unit on work procedures.

 

  • Collating of monthly reports from all Urban Waste Management depots

 

  • Co-ordinates Occupational Health and Safety, operational plans, projects and business process flowcharts.

 

  • Manages financial information on SAP
  • Participating in internal audit processes
  • Monitoring the processing and consolidation of information
  • Identifies and defines the short to medium term objectives and priorities.

 

  • Controls workflow processes and output levels of administrative personnel

 

  • Provide Support to line functions
  • Participating in Management discussions and presenting constraints

 

  • Resolving conflicts and addressing deviations in performance levels from agreed standards

 

  • Providing consolidated financial and administrative Information in the form of inventory analysis, forecasts, expenditure schedules, etc
